Today is our Glorious Day - the day to which every Nigerian has been eagerly looking forward. At last, our great time has arrived, and Nigeria is now indeed an independent sovereign nation.” The delegate of Nigeria said in gratitude.

He also pessimistically shared with AP their country's plans for the near future. “With our harbor now in control, we will further promote our export and import sector. Meanwhile, oil extraction is also our main target to develop the country's economy, along with the plan to join a pan-Africanist association in order to strengthen our power and reduce economic dependency. Nigeria is now open to any FDIs.”

Addressing the session, the lovely delegate of the USSR stated: "The more freedom the better, we treat all as important.” regarding the independence of another African nation in the continent.

In response to the proposal of a new Special Committee raised by the USSR, the delegates of the United Kingdom and Great Britain also expressed their doubts. “We hopefully think that is not necessary, because as the context given right now, what we need is a peacekeeping force that will go there and defuse the situations to prevent any further escalation. A decolonization committee such as the C-24 is unnecessary right now because that is not the stage that we are currently in.

The freedom that was given to Nigeria and Algeria has been achieved without the monitoring of a committee, and they have both been proven to be successful. The United Kingdom and Great Britain is always willing to provide support to their economic development and infrastructure, along with expert help to Nigeria if needed.” He added.

"Australia find unnecessary because the decolonization process in each country has different progress… Not to mention, deciding which country to prioritize liberating first is also an issue that needs attention because every colonial country wishes to be liberated as soon as possible." The delegate of Australia commented later on.
