The crisis between colonized nations and their overlord began to escalate further lately, yet, as the "beacon of freedom and democracy" as they claimed, the US abstained from commenting directly on this issue.

Some anonymous US sources begin to question their nation's own policy, citing the fear that they do not commit to their "principles", indirectly supporting the old colonialist countries as well as letting the UK overshadow them in the UNGA.
