“We aim to resolve in Kenya and support our people endangered by the inhuman act of the KLFA.”
Faced with the growing threat known as the Mau Mau Revolution in Kenya, the UK has expressed its dissatisfaction with the actions of the parties involved in the revolution such as the indigenous Kikuyu, Meru, and Embu fighters of the Kenya Land and Freedom Army. The KLFA, similar to the ANLF, followed the guerilla hit-and-run tactics towards the British security forces, which the UK deeply condemns for its violent nature.
The UK believes that every conflict should always be resolved with a diplomatic solution, and the use of violent warfare tactics will only serve to prolong and worsen the current conflicts not only in Kenya but also in other countries riddled with wars, for this conflict has not only caused significant casualties towards the British forces, but the people of the revolution has also been greatly affected as well. However, while the UK strongly trusts diplomatic solutions and peaceful solutions for decolonization, the delegate of the UK has expressed his willingness to take military actions if anything were to impact the people of the UK negatively.
The UK is open to more diplomatic discussions in order to promote peace talks and diplomatic solutions with Kenya, along with various other African countries.
