“Actions speak louder than words” - The Soviet Union met up with countries to discuss African Independence and related issues.
Over the past week, Moscova was honored to welcome President Fidel Castro of Cuba along with Angola and Czechoslovakia delegates as the prestigious capital. Talks were made concerning African Independence and other related issues.
In particular, President Castro and the USSR leaders have had conversations on Africa and Vietnam’s situation, discussing future actions. Be it planning for independence or demilitarization, they have crafted a concerted course of action to tackle the problems.

Angola and Czechoslovakia delegates also visited around the same time, with the objective being to coordinate the appropriate approach to Angola’s path to independence.
These diplomatic events marked the inflection point for progress in decolonization and demilitarizing of African countries. The world is looking forward to seeing decisive responses to the current matters and more countries to follow the USSR’s lead in cooperation to solve the matters at hand.
