Nigeria's independence and the path to globalization

Reuters - by Shen LOID

With excitement, the NCNC and the UK have finally settled their differences over Nigeria's independence. Under the supervision of the NCNC administration, the United Kingdom will release its colony and aid in the formation of a Federal administration of Nigeria. However, the UK will retain access to any mined natural resources. Nigeria has once again adopted the tried and successful method of trading economic concessions for independence. As part of the agreement, the United Kingdom committed to completely withdrawing its armed forces from Nigeria, would consider Nigeria's membership into the Commonwealth, and would advocate for Nigeria's admission to the United Nations as an independent nation with its own parliament and as a member of the Commonwealth with the Queen as its head of state.

The Reuters news agency would like to send its most sincere congratulations to Nigeria for its newly gained independence, noting that this will be a significant stepping stone for other colonies to work towards independence and sends its blessing for Nigeria’s admissions to the United Nations as well as its membership into the Commonwealth.
