France: Self-immolation at Paris

At 3:30 PM, 30 Sep, a French citizen Darcy Samson, age 35, was found dead by suicide by self-immolation at a busy Paris road. According to Parisian police, the motive behind the death of Darcy is in light of the French citizens' anti-colonisation in African movement.

France recognizes that social discontent can arise from various factors such as economic inequality, unemployment, and inadequate public services. The self-immolation incident takes place as ‘the last straw’ to the pressure the French government is facing.

To address the country’s situation effectively, France has made a decision to fully retreat its military force from Africa and pay full attention to the nation’s stabilization and development.
