Fidel Castro visited Egypt: A warm response

Stepping down from a Bristol Britannia 318 jet, the leader of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro, was greeted warmly by Gamal Abdel Nasser. A great welcoming ceremony was prepared, with Egyptian artillery firing in awe and thunderous applause from bystanders while the Egyptian President was walking alongside the Cuban revolutionary.

The great leaders of those brave nations were reported to be in agreement with the solitary movement towards revolutionary movements in Africa. It is an understandable result considering the two nations’ past oppressed statuses. This will be a landmark for the two nations’ closer collaboration, as well as an alarm to the West about spreading Red side influence in America and Africa alike.
